Hi.
First of, I'm not sure if this is the right forum for posting this, so feel free to move it

For a few weeks ago Ive got a broken Sega Rally Championship cheap, the game PCB was dead, and most of the other boards had severe water damage, so they was trashed, only usable parts was the monitor, the wheel, pedals, and gearshift, so i thought, hey why not convert it to PC use, and let a PC emulate the original Sega Rally game, and then my small project started

First step was getting the monitor working again, this was the easy part, it almost fired right up with a decent picture, still needs a cap kit, but that's another story

Second was getting the original wheel, pedals, and gear shift working with the PC, this was done with a hacked logitech driving force wheel, nothing big there, the worst part was getting the original force feedback in the Sega cab working again, took me a few days thinking about different solutions before i decided on trying with a pair of solid state relays connected directly to the logitech driving force h-bridge.
The original motor in the logitech wheel was a 24 volt DC motor, and the one in the Sega is a 90 volt AC motor, so i couldn't use the H-Bridge directly, the solid state relays work pretty good, still need a bit of fine tuning, and a voltage limiter on the supply for the motor in the Sega, its way to powerfull when running on full power.
I'm sorry about the poor English, but i hope it makes sense anyway.
