Bubble Bobble, Jungle Hunt & DK Jr artwork Redo!

After starting back into casual vector tracing again after about 4 years lay-off..  thought I'd put the hippocryt behind me and review my first important AI vector jobs I did back when I was nooby and green. 
The suspect jobs being the original 'Jungle Hunt' marquee, 'Bubble Bobble' marquee and 'DK Junior' cpo. All currently up on the Arcade Art Library.

Now that I'm wiser ... thought I better fix my frick-ups.. especially when some people are downloading them and using them to restore their cabs. Most of the problems are 'stroke' related ... except for the Jungle Hunt... which is a mess in my books and was done via bad snapshots.  Nothing huge .. but needs to be done.

The Bubble Bobble marquee and DK jr CPO are already done ... just waiting for Sirwoogie to fix my account at AAL so I can upload.  I also won't upload until, hopefully, someone helps me out as mentioned below.   I'm picking up a scan of the JH marquee today for reference on the last job.

So.. the corrections were.

Bubble Bobble Marquee - Heavy revise of all ellements and color separated.  I still can't guarantee the overall dimensions are correct.  They are set to the original scan (which I did not do.  Ad_Enuff from memory).

If anyone has an original Bubble Bobble Marquee... chuck the overall accurate measurement this way and I will scale correctly --BINGO! Either that, or I was attempting to say "before" but it was too many letters to type-- uploading.

DK Jr CPO -  I used the same original raw scan that used to be up at AAL.  Heavily revised all ellements.  The main blue 'base path' seems incorrect.  I also had another scan from the old CAGA for reference.  Both had different sized and offset blue 'base path'.  But all the other ellements were exact and too scale when overlayed over both scans (eg Mario, DK and Son, Instruction Card etc), which was excellent.  All the repro CPOs out there have Mario's foot cut off.  The scan I compiled the original file on does not... very wierd.  Regardless.. just means if anyone prints this out to use... they can trim the main blue to suit.   Still to color separate.

However, If anyone has an original Dk Jr CPO... if they could give me some accurate overall measurements, I can modify the file to suit correct scale (see pic below and areas I need measured as well as overal dimesnions .  Please Add any other measurements u think may help).

Still don't have any dimension references for the 'Bubble Bobble' marquee to check against.  I'll post this dimension query when I re-upload the marquee, if it doesn't get done soon.

As for the DK Jr CPO.  Quite a few changes.  All the main ellements were fine.  But the colors are just all over the place.  No idea how the original scan colors are like they are.  I gather during some clean-up stage they were messed up?? 

I didn't get hold of any other scans ... but I used about 4 reference pics from various sources to correct the main blue background dimensions and placement and all the colors on the whole cpo and instructions card.   The Instruction card was also way to small on the original scan.  Don't know what happended their either.  Did the same with the Instruction card, modded via reference pics.  All the ellements were fine on that as well.

So.. it's a hell of alot better now ... but without a proper full , color correct scan or CPO to test it against, I can't guarentee anything.

I'm still waiting for some dimensions for further checking,

As reference, the above CPO (below), has the colors from the original scan  .. and the bottom one is the corrected colors.

The heavily revised 'Bubble Bobble' marquee and complete fresh re-trace of the 'Jungle Hunt' marquee are done.  Both with color separation and the 'Jungle Hunt' has bleeds set as well (not shown in pic below).    The 'Jungle Hunt' colors have not been color matched from nos artwork (as I don't have access to any) , just the scan itself as well as referencing the CPO and Zorgs Bezel.

I'm picking up a scan of a DK jr cpo in the bext few days.  Measurements will still be godd reference check

Also as reference.  Jungle Hunt marquee now pantone color matched from good orginal marquee.  Thanks to prok.
