hooking up Vision Pro monitor to Jamma harness
« on: July 13, 2009, 07:51:21 pm »
Hi all, here is my summer project:  built a mame cab a few years ago with ArcadeVGA and standard resolution monitor.  It is a Vision Pro MTG1901CM (I think, a little hard to read w/o pulling it out of the cab).  So, hard drive fail and I decide to try a 48-in-1 board rather than building or buying or fixing the computer.

The monitor has a 6 pin molex type connector going to it (which I had wired to the ArcadeVGA), the wiring harness I bought (from jammaboards.com), if I have it figured out right, has only a 5 pin connector of a different type.

I am guessing the 5 pin combines Horz and Vert sync?

what would be the best way to connect this up?  get a new wiring harness?  cut and splice the wires together?

any ideas are appreciated, thanks!
