Track & Field DIP switches??
« on: July 09, 2003, 12:26:45 pm »
I have a friend who loves track & field.  He's a lot better at the button smashing than I am so I attempted to change the DIP switch settings in game to allow me to continue and also give me 2 lives.
The settings don't seem to be having any actual effect to the game.  Just to test, I also changed the coin insert DIP switch to 1 coin = 2 credits and it's not actually doing anythign either.

Did I do something wrong?

Try resetting the machine after changing the dip switch (with f3).

If there are any clones available, you can always try those also, maybe one of them will work.

It's possible that it's a bug.  In that case you can report it to http://www.mametesters.com.
