Emusaver question for Howard C./or anyone else
« on: July 09, 2003, 12:12:37 pm »
I have attempted the suggestions you made previously and still can not determine why emusaver 2.1 is not working for me.  I have the placed the cmd-exe file and the config file in my mame folder in which my mame.exe is also located.  I have installed the emusaver file into the windows screensavers section and under the settings option, I have set the mame path as C:\mame\ and the rom path as C:\mame\roms, and even attempted to have the path be a smaller rom, for example, C:\mame\roms\bankp.  I then select preview, but I continue to get the same results-- the "loading game please wait" screen and nothing happens.  When I push control-alt-delete, it doesnt appear that MAME is running.  Not sure why.  I am running Windows 98SE.  Is there anything else I can try?  What could I be missing?
Thanks.
