Craigslist Pranks
« on: July 08, 2009, 01:17:31 am »
This guy is amazing. He responds to classified ads simply trying to mess with people. The results are often hilarious. I laughed continuously all the way through. Because of the Craigslist experiences posted here, I thought this would be appreciated.

One warning though, his website does contain a good deal of language. (As you might expect).

Seems a little fake to me.

 :dunno

Does that really matter?  Its funny just the same.  If it is fake, its funny because its not out of the realm of possibility for an exchange like that to occur on CL.  Maybe to a slightly lesser extent, but isnt that the point of satire?

i'm not sure they are that funny, read the one where he offers to trade his whore of a wife, the guy he tries to draw in didn't get into his baiting yet still recieved really obnoxious mails for a 'joke'

Not a prank, but a website dedicated to the worst freebies that have been posted on Craigslist:

http://itemnotasdescribed.com/

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Yeah, that one killed me. My wife likes the one with the rocks that are circled ("take these and I'll pay you $30")

The one titled "Father & Son" is priceless.  The kid tries to offer him $4000 for the car.  Not only would that be nuts for a 92 camry, let alone one with blood on the seats, tuna fish smell, busted windshield, etc.  :lol

Liked the one where he wants the guy to carry a fridge up 60 flights of stairs.

I agree that some of them are just stupid and obnoxious, but there are some that are pretty funny.  And yeah it very well may be fake, but I could see a lot of these exchanges happening..
