OK - now I'm confused
FrizzleFried - what you're saying makes sense. If I'm still sending a 31Khz signal, it would obviously explain why I am getting a split screen. (I assume the monitor is not capable of "splitting" the signal itself?)
Kevin Mullins is going on about how my monitor might not support 640x480, but if I'm still sending a 31Khz signal, that is been split by the JPAC, how do I know my monitor doesn't support it? The signal isn't getting there! You can't both be right.
FrizzleFried - you mention "properly configuring" soft15. As far as I can tell, you just install it. I don't think there's any additional configuration (is there?)
I'm using a Nvidia 6600GT, which i believe is on the supported list for soft15, but maybe it doesn't quite work properly? It works at 640x240, but maybe it doesn't provide an interlaced signal at 640x480??
Any more help would be appreciated, I'm close to giving up. But I would at least like to know WHY I can't get this working.
(Please don't patronise me by telling me to "read the wiki" or something. I've read everything I can find)
cheers!
