Plans for an arcade stick?
« on: December 22, 2009, 11:12:48 pm »
well, a friend of mine and I want to build a few arcade sticks, and after looking around for a while, we found a design we liked, but we can't find even a remotely viable set of plans, i.e. we'd really just have to wing it on the design.

here's the stick we liked:

does anyone have a set of plans they could send my way?

Are you asking how to build the case+controls, or how to construct an actual joystick?

He says on his page that he's using stock joysticks

The majority of joysticks and buttons I use consist of Sanwa, Seimitsu, and/or Happ brand parts

I recall seeing some basic plans on byrdo's site (years ago).
If not there anymore, maybe the wayback machine is your friend.

Take a look [here]. There is a wealth of joystick building information as well as a couple of plans/build guides.
