Creating Custom Sideart... How To?
« on: July 08, 2003, 11:08:10 am »
Hello all.

Well, I just started my MAME Arcade project -- in that I went to get the wood last night. ;)  I'm already looking ahead to my side art, since I have some ideas on what I want to do, but I am unsure as to how I do it.

What is side art normally?  I've figured that I could one of three methods, are there more?

1) Painted sideart (that ain't gonna happen, so on we go)
2) A big sticker.  I know this is done for commercial arcade machines, but where can I get a huge sticker printed?
3) Big paper cut out, stuck the side and painted over with a clear coat.  Has anyone tried this (if so, did it work)?

Thanks for any help!

If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.
