Video games concert.  Anyone gone/going?  I'm considering it.

edited to include the word "concert" in the title.

There was a thread on this last summer too.  Maybe those folks will chime in again.  I'd like to take my step-son.  Everything I read last year said it was pretty awesome.

I took my kids a year and a half ago (Mesa, AZ).  Looking forward to going again in March, 2010 (Tuscon, AZ).  Great show.  Well worth the $$$.

Definitely go.  The wife and I loved it, and she's not much of a gamer.

It was just in Ft Worth last week, saw reviews about it in the paper a few days ago. I would have loved to go.

I'll have to mark that on the calendar for next year.

You can listen to some of the tracks on Myspace. The mario brothers mix is pretty cool. The Halo theme sounds +really+ good.

Damn ..... and that's the closest any show like this ever comes to OKC.   :(
Totally missed it again.

I've visited the event three times in the Netherlands ("Games in Concert") and it is a must-go if you're a fan of games. My wife is not really a gamer but she also loved every minute of the concert.
