Official name of joystick shaft disc
« on: June 23, 2009, 10:08:16 pm »
Hello,

What is the official name of joystick shaft disc thing that sits on top of the control panel?  I want to get colored ones.

Thanks

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Dustwasher. Good luck finding colors, though. I know the IL Competition sticks have them (www.lizardlick.com)

Look up our member Franco_B. He could make whatever colors you need.

Yep. Use a decent quality spray paint/sealer combo or better still, a 'plasti-kote' spray (spraypaint with polymers) for a hard-wearing finish. I've done this with my Mag-sticks as they are only available in blue, red or black - so I sprayed the handles and dust washers for player 3 and 4's black sticks into green and yellow respectively.
