I take a look at the stock market and while all of my holdings are all stinking it up, one in particular is dropping my jaw. Mosaic (MOS) is down 8.6% !?!?! WTF? I try to look up the news and everything is peachy...it just feels like taking a 4 and a half point nose dive. F'ing ---That which is odiferous and causeth plants to grow---!!!!! HTF am I going to finance this arcade hobby? :angry:

The 401K is not a short term investment. My trading account (gambling money) is a short term investment. It has served me well until about 18 months ago. Maybe I ought to just do it the old fashion way and go down to the Casino Queen and put it all on black.

May as well. Playing the stock market short term is not much different than a casino table.

I'm having fun wheeling and dealing in penny stock. It's exciting, and I have no real money tied up in it.

If the product ever actually makes it to market? Then yes. For now, I just screw around with buying buying selling it, mainly to avoid etrade's outrageous quarterly fees. I made like $100 last week on one small chunk of a sale. I'll just buy it back next week at a lower price.
