300 dpi?

well, I recently found out that my CPO was not made in 300 dpi mode.
so, i'm starting over.
I'm basically just trying to remake my CPO, but everything is shrunk down when i copy the layers, will they still appear the same size after i get it printed?

I actually have a bit of a question regarding this.  I've got this extremely high resolution Cammy image that I'm planning on using as part of the side art for my cabinet.


Warning - 1.6 megs if you click on it.

The image is 4096 x 5793

At 300 dpi that means that this image can only have a max size of 13.65" x 19.31"

When I click view it by "actual pixels" however in Photoshop on my 27" monitor with a max resolution of 2048x1152 pixels the image looks spectacular and measuring while scrolling up it's over 47" in size! 

19 inches is far too small for a big sideart picture.  I was hoping to print this out at around 40" in size.  Will it come out ok at that size?  I thought the resolution was high enough but I'm starting to have my doubts.

Inn Photoshop CS4 Image --> Image Size
Set your Document Size
Check Resample Image: Select Bicubic
And then hit OK (The file will be huge)
