You do it as a joke. I see people post ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- like that on facebook all the time. Well...I did. Anytime I see something retarded posted, that person earns a ban from my newsfeed.

Here's something weird. I'm a computer professional. I have an information systems minor, worked as a network admin for almost 8 years and a was a computer technician before that. I have a few minor certifications. I'm a fairly compulsive tinkerer. But I have almost no idea what twitter is. I don't think I've ever visited the site. From what I gather it's more or less like setting your status on IM or Facebook. But changing it a bunch of times throughout the day. And people apparently care.

I frequently think that I should check it out just to be informed, but for some reason I always do other things instead. Like writing this post, for example.

I've never been to twitter either, but I am under the impression that it is the exact same as the "what are you thinking/doing right now?" Thing on the front page of facebook.
