WG 9200 suddenly darker picture after reboot - Help
« on: June 07, 2009, 04:27:03 pm »
I was doing some working on the software in my cabinet today and after rebooting the monitor came up but was considerably darker than it had been.  I thought it might be just temporary but it stayed that way.  I checked my monitor and video card settings and nothing appears to have changed.

I had my monitor brigtness and contrast right in the middle of the settings.  If I turn them both all the way up now the picture is close to where it was before but still a little dim.

I searched this forum but maybe I don't have the right terminology.  I really didn't find a topic that seemed to adress this.

Any suggestions, could it be time for a CAP kit?  Any thought would be appreciated.

There have been discussions on other forums regarding the EEPROM chip on this chassis going bad and not "remembering" it's basic setup (including picture brightness) settings.
