I got one of those pacman hack roms that its not on the regular Mame build, i know i can use misfit Mame to play that game, but to be honest, i don't like misfit Mame, so i remember in the old days (i came from a spanish forum that went down) when kof2k3 was dumped and allot of folks wanted to play that game in Mame, many of those guys they compile they're own version of Mame by just adding drivers to the source, now I'm familiar with compiling Mame for the diff patch but have no clue how to add drivers to Mame, I'm planing to build a dedicated all pacman Mame multigame and would like to have this hack as well.
Does anyone knows how to do that or point me in the right direction, thanks allot
Ok i decided to use multimame just torun the one game, i tried to use the prog but i get consoleapplicatio1 error , does anyone knows what this is? thanks

Use Mame v0.131 for your main romsets and Misfit for your Pacman hacks.

Some games are easier to add than others.  (MameDev link on game drivers.)  I'd think adding pacman hacks would be one of the easier adds.  The [urlhttp://mamedev.org/devwiki/index.php/Game_Drivers]MameDev Game_Drivers page[/url] probably talks about all you'd need for the pacman stuff, especially since you have access to Misfit's source.  (I haven't tested it though.)

But easier to do as Minwah said (and use a frontend).

thought about using multimame to add that one particular game, seems like allot of work , ill take a look  at it...
