wow, i got some more replies

.
my mom said the same thing (she is good for checking ideas with

.
its really hard to tell from the pics, but what you have to imagine, or if you have a cab walk up to it and put your hands on like you are playing it. notice how for you stand back. then, look at my pic, and realize that your head/eye height is just under the notches of the sides (me anyway, im 5'7") or about 6" under the marquee for me. once you account for that the visibilty is for all intents perfect. although with my mums tip, i do want a 27" TV later on (25" now) and since it will be wider, i cut a 1" notch from the bottom angle (top of CP) up to the same curve point. and it even looks more arcade authentic too. i'll go ahead and toss up a new pic. the notch is the same angle as the CP. and is flush (w/ t-molding in) with top of CP. thats the only thing i changed about the initial design.
the removeable.... i'll just save that for some finished pics

.
but i'll say my goal was for you to look at the cab, see a 2P panel, and have no idea more will go onto it. pure stealth

anyway.... the cab is built. CP is cut. im just waiting for my happ stuff to get here and the laminate. i dont want to unveil a naked cab

. and i have some other surprises i want to wait for.
oh ya, 1 other thing. the CP will no longer be purple

. i am a purple nut. the only thing i made --BINGO! Either that, or I was attempting to say "before" but it was too many letters to type-- was a table top CP. i had the nintendo gamecube purple paint matched for it. i so love that color. but there is not a close laminate color and i dont want lexan this time. so the CP will be wilson art pewter brush.
