Using marquees in your skins
« on: July 04, 2003, 07:09:35 pm »
Is there a way to autofit the marquees to the box size in DK skins?  I understand it would stretch and distort some of the marquees, but better than a tiny one that you can't really see.

I posted this before in kind of a long message, but is anyone using the altelements in DK?  I think I followed the necessary steps to get mine working, but it doesn't.

Thanks

I don't know if there is an option to autofit the marquees, or if people really desire to do so.  But what I ended up doing is creating a simple action in photoshop which resizes the image to whatever I want.  Then I ran the automated batch process and let photoshop resize every item in my marquee folder.  (I saved the zipped files in case I ever wanted a different size.)  Now when I scroll through my game list, the marquees all line up perfect on my cabinet.  I found this to also be good in reducing the file size of a lot of these files.

I did the same with my control panels.
