Custom MAME Intro
« on: May 19, 2009, 02:50:01 pm »
A fellow BYOACian came to my rescue when I was asking about custom MAME cabinet intro files...

THANK YOU BILL for busting this kickass intro out!   Both my wife and totally dig it!

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Hey there frizzlefried, I read an older post of yours a month or so back that you were going to do a Pole Position restore.  Did you ever do it?

Wow, it looks very polished (be it a little disturbing).  ;)

It also seems to be just the right length. The most annoying thing is an overly long intro.

I was going to make a dedicated PP MAME driver... but I decided to hold off until I could find a cockpit.  I sold the project PP...

Exactly! 10 seconds or so is about the max.  That said,  I love the new MAMEWAH that allows you to skip the intro with a push of a button.

Finally, a reason to upgrade Mamewah! Now I can put an intro video back on my cab!

I was just checking.  Somewhere among my travels, I seen the side artwork 300 dpi fullscale for the cockpit and was just wondering if you had the art.

Thanks
