Is this monitor for your desktop or a cab?

If you're looking for a decent desktop mon, I've been very happy with the Dell 2405wfp (or newer 2407wfp).

And they're relatively inexpensive now, too.

There is really something strange happening in LCD land. There's a giant vacuum growing between cheap TN crap (which start too look much better too SUBJECTIVELY, but probably only for the first year) and the quality display's with SIPS and SPVA panels that remain 500$+. I bet no-one is making any money on the TN panels. 120$ for a monitor. Go away, that is ridiculous! 0-profit on those!
Guess you pay the profit of LG and Samsung and co if you buy a non-TN panel nowadays.
So take that gigantic 22 inch DiamonTRON beast from Craigslist for 5$, and you have a better image for a longer period. Or stop wining about money, and get into the 500$+ league.

Hey I would suggest you to go for HP Widescreen TFT monitor. L1710 SXGA 17” TFT LCD Monitor has a luxuriant design and phenomenal performance. Helps easy choice for gamers, home/small office users and corporate professionals. You can have a look into this: http://www.checkcost.co.uk/lcd-tft-monitors/c/4233/

I think Blanka hit it on the head! I want to start experimenting more with LCD too, nows finally the time. After finally seeing ViewLix cabs and Tekken 6 in person, its had me drooling!
