Sorry a few more details

ASUS P4S800-MX Motherboard

P4 2.8

2x512MB DDR PC400

ATI AIW 9600 128MB DDR (AGP)

Eagle 350w P4 Power Supply
-----
Jpac
Wells gardner k7000 25 Inch monitor in a
1990 Atari Pit-Fighter (Jamma)
-----

What I want to do is leave the computer out of the arcade machine. This way my son can still use it as his computer for school work and the internet. At the same time I want it hooked up to the pit-fighter arcade machine so he can run that as well with mame/mala.

Can i get any pointers for pulling this off? If you click the link for the video card you can see some of the features of this card.

O I thought you were looking for a card.

if your using it on a arcade monitor and is 15K run the soft15K tool at the top of the monitor section.

and use the AVres tool to setup the correct res's for the emu

use quikres tool to set the desk top to 640X480

Notice you're going to need a special (dual) connector for that (apparently) VGA out in the center. Then you'll need to look up how video cards and drivers do different kinds of desktop schemes (dual view, clone, etc), and then look in the monitor wiki to understand how to set up a video card for an arcade monitor, and between it and a VGA monitor.

Thanks guys that helped me out...

Here is a picture of the factory harness for the card and the break out box. Look almost halfway down and you will see each of them.

So dual display it can do... Still not to sure if this will work. The main problem I can think of is windows will treat both displays as one. Meaning the mouse will be able to drag from one monitor to the other arcade monitor. Also Mame always starts on the main monitor...

So I still have a few details to work out...  A few people have posted some stuff related to dual monitors. But nothing seems to apply that I can find.
