What music are you listening to?
« on: April 30, 2009, 06:41:09 pm »
So far every forum i've been on has had one of these. Simply post a song title and artist, information(genre, etc.) if you want, and a link. If you can't find one i suggest www.songza.com its awesome.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme song on one TV, and Phineas & Ferb on the other.  The kids are in charge of the TV's for some reason.
But wasn't it fun to think you won the lottery, just for a second there???

So a leper walks into a bar and as he gets his beer, a finger falls off. The bartender who is serving him turns and pukes all over the place. The leper, feeling bad, says, "Was it my finger falling off?" The bartender turns to him and says, "No, it's the guy dipping chips into your back."

At least I'm not alone... Hannah Montana is singing about rockin' again, something she always sings about but never does. I feel like putting an axe through the TV.

Been listening to Art Of Noise - "Who's Afraid of the Art Of Noise"

You might be familiar with this video if you were watching MTV back in the early 80's:

The disbanded band from Baltimore: Dog Fashion Disco or DFD for short.

http://songza.com/~y5flj8

Some of my favourites are: Castaway, The Darkest days, Vertigo Motel and Dr. Piranha.

Plus their album Committed to a Bright Future is one of the best albums I have ever listened to.  Definitely check these guys out,  they deserve a lot more credit then they got.  This band will grow on you.

Also I have been Listening to these guys as well, Lifestory: Monologue

www.myspace.com/lifestorymonologue

Check out Wolves behind me.

Songsa has a lot of stuff from Youtube. Hm. Well, I'll go the direct route then, and post this. I've been diggin on it, again. Rarely have I heard it better. Keep in mind this was around 1913. The piece, not the recording.

Finished my audio book, so I've been working my way thru some old cd's during my long survey drives this week. yesterday listened to Machine Head - The more things change...
It kept me awake 1.5 hours into a 2.5 hour trip real early yesterday morning.
Big song from the album: Ten Ton Hammer
