listed on klov, no luck..thought I'd try here -

I'm still learning, but I wanted to see what you guys thought the lack of red is in this pic? When I adjust the pot on the neck for R-BKG, it seems to tint it slightly, but nothing major

Also, anyone familiar with these chassis know what the pots are at VR601,VR602, VR603? I'm guessing these are also pots to adjust color, but rather ask before I mess with anything else.


one other general monitor question, Is there any danger from not running the earth ground to the neck board connector? The whole board seems to make a large hum without it connected, just wondering what this means..

if the crt has some age , it could simply be low gun emissions.
rejuvination would likely produce an improvement.

generally, the red gun is driven the hardest,  for red is the major picture element.
 followed by green, then blue -  in that order.

there should be drive ctls for each gun. ( haven't looked at a print ) possibly a bias pot and drive pot
bias would be for a no signal setting . drive is for adjusting video signal levels
