Hi again everyone,

I'm getting pretty desperate now, as I'm 99% close to finishing my cabinet  :applaud: (for now) but the GENS emulator refuses to cooperate with Maximus Arcade!

Here's the deal; when loading any game directly from GENS, everything works fine. I get scanlines and I get perfect sound. BUT, when loading any Genesis game with GENS from Maximus Arcade the scanlines are disabled and the sound is terribly, I mean terribly distorted.

Does anyone know what might cause this? Thanks in advance for all help and guidance.

I'm using GENS v2.14 and Maximus Arcade v2.10.

I solved the issue, but I'll post the fix here in case other people are having the same issues.

I believe the sound issue is caused if you're using a Realtek HD soundcard (or other Realtek soundcards). The problem wouldn't go away as long as I used Gens, so I switched to latest Gens+ and then it was all good.

Now let me just finish this cabinet ... Finally, I'm very happy now .. :)
