I set up a handful before I realized they weren't gaining my guy pupil points. I go ahead and level them up just in case one of them gets really good.

BTW, I just reached Lev 8 with my namesake. The big bonus...increased strength. It doesn't even raise my damage!

How do you get the skills?

Is it just random with the amount of fights you have?

You randomly get bonuses when you level up. Sometimes you get weapons, sometimes you get skills, and most of the time for me at least, I get 1-2 worthless st points. One time I didn't get anything!

OK Cool.

I beat you on my first fight but have been pretty lousy since.

To be honest, you don't even play the stupid game, you just choose an opponent.  That's all you do.  It fights, it does your power ups, it even does the tournaments on its own.  I probably won't play it beyond this week if I don't see something more than "ooh, let's fight missioncontrol again" to do.

Maybe it'll be different once you get in a clan?   :dunno

Its a nice novelty, but nothing spectacular.  I think a lot of people probably try it a few times and then get bored because of the lack of control.  If you get a great weapon early, like McCoy's son, it makes it easier but that's about it.

I did create about a dozen...but it was the random keyboard pressing thing, so I'm not even gonna bother doing anything with most of them.  It was alot of trying to determine what restrictions there are on pupils and still getting exp from them for the master.

I think a purchase system would have been great.  As you fight, you'd get more "money" to buy the skills/stats/weapons.  That customization would have been cool to try.

I'll last longer than a week...but I'm sure I'll eventually get bored of it, especially as leveling up takes longer and longer.

Don't be fooled.  That guy should have dodged alot more of your attacks with his agility and feline agility.  Didn't even pull out his stars.  I've seen 8 stars thrown in a row at one point.

There are average fighters...then there are overpowered ones.  Wolves and bears.  Very tough...can you net a bear?

How much HP do bears have?  I hit a lvl 5 bear twice with the scourge for around 80 points total.  Didn't kill it.

I don't have to kill a bear - I just have to throw a net on it. Grey wolves are much worse than a bear.

This game is such a joke though. I occasionally look at the grand pooh-bah's...they don't even play the game!

That sucks.  Just posting your link and getting people to sign up for you, makes you #1 without winning a fight.    :censored:

Bears have 150-200 HP...

I couldn't figure out which is worse to fight against at first.  Bear or wolf.  You would think a bear...but the damn wolf just keeps attacking like it's on speed or something.

The poohbahs occasionally enter the tourneys, just to smack people around.  The site is "under maintenance for a few minutes" right now.  Odd, since it's under maintenance for over an hour daily.  Usually around the time I can get on it finally, which is late evening.

Check out "the.pozzi"

Also, "006" hasn't actively won a single match himself, but is now level 3 from about 120 pupils.

I've been in a couple of tournaments.  It's just a matter of registering before they close.  No idea on when they open though.

I've had problems off and on. It was crappy anyway. An interesting diversion for a few days, but no lasting appeal.

I can't get it to work today. You can only see so many "error...but go try our pay games out!" screens before you lose interest.

Even more so when you consider the fact they limit you to 3 fights a day.

Tourneys open up at midnight France time.  There seems to be a set amount of entrants allowed, I think.

I also noticed both the.pozzi and bot horst guy restarted their characters.  I'm not sure why or how that works...I wonder if they had a bot manipulating their IP and signing up new pupils for themselves.  Is that possible?  This was just speculation of mine on how pozzi was up to 40000 pupils just last week.

Okay...I'm thoroughly convinced the site is under maintenance daily somewhere between 10 pm and midnight daily.  Like he has the server(s) shut down for a couple hours to sit and cool or whatever.

The wolf is better than the bear.  Just watched this fight.  Bear had between 75 and 130 HP.  Wolf took it down single-handedly.

Wolf pwnz

Even crazier, the wolf guy was lvl 5, while bothorst was lvl 7.  (Wolves have between 22 and 29 HP)

That shows how ridiculously overpowered a wolf is. I do okay against them with the net, but usually by the time I throw my net, enough damage has been done that I can't recover.

I have a wolf and haven't found it to be that good.  I've had problems logging in, like everyone else, but I've found a refresh gets me in.

I still do my three fights daily when I can.  What kills me is people leveling up because they have pupils v. fighting and getting points that way.

Just stay up past 1 or 2 am in the morning EST...then you could enter...or do it between 6 pm and 10 pm, when the day starts in France.  Don't bother on weekends.  Tourneys are filled within two hours that I've noticed.  Probably even less time than that.

I'm getting tired of it...but so far I can't quite pull myself away.  My five are all very similar in style and abilities, except my main with two dogs, which makes it a tad boring.

Armor, thick skin...not cool.  Only way to decently damage the guy is with weapons...but then he can steal them.  You seem to have gotten lucky, as that is an extremely fortunate combination of abilities to have.

To top it off, the guy has the ability to rarely miss a hit.

How to beat him?  Someone would need a wolf/bear.  Or you would have to pull out your knife, and someone else would pull out a much better weapon and kill you before you had the chance to toss the knife and steal the other weapon.

Shardian is almost level 10 and can start a clan at that point.  Maybe things are different then?   :laugh2:

Probably not, but still worth checking out.  I still take the time every day for my three fights.  It's not the most entertaining thing in the world but it's a good little diversion.

Just checked...Tournament for tomorrow is already closed and it's only 20 past 6 EST, which is 12:20 am in France...

Perhaps the sign up time is different for tourneys.

Edit:  Looks like one can sign up once the daily one is over.  Which I'm guessing is sometime overnight for us.  So hit it early morning.

Site's getting slower and slower, and more and more errors.  They certainly can't handle the volume.

My "main" is in the clan, but I have two others that have more wins than her.

I've advertised my link elsewhere, and I've been getting a pupil here and there, (up to 26 or so) but I'm not getting experience from them.  I know they can't be the same person.  How?  Because the one person that explicitly said they would sign under me didn't even get me any exp, and I don't know the person at all.

A few things that grind my gears:

Almost all the time, when I pull out my throwing stars, I throw 1-3, then chuck it.  Other people end up throwing a bunch at a time, up to 12 I've seen at once.

I have trouble hitting with blunt weapons, yet other people don't have the same problem, even though dodge specific attributes are the same.

I now have fierce brute with hypernovae.  Wanna know what she does with it?
A.  She pulls out throwing stars.  (it only affects the first star thrown, and thrown weapons don't seem to get the strength bonus)
B.  She throws whatever weapon that she had out (same thing as above about damage)
C.  She doesn't have any weapons out, and uses a single fist attack
D.  Someone preempts the attack.  (happened once so far.)

OK...everyone else with fierce brute pulls out a GOOD weapon (anything but a throwing object) and attacks, not throws it, or does something else useful with the super.  Guy I just fought had it, then did the hammer (piledriver) super at the same time.  Instant death on my guy.
All my opponents use it with half a bit of intelligence with fierce brute.  Why is mine such an idiot with it?  She literally wastes it EVERY TIME.

Oh well.  It's still a neat diversion while watching a show with commercials.
I'll exercise patience when you stop exercising stupidity.
