Maybe one of the stated rules should be "Don't post here, put it where it belongs after reading etc etc"

I noticed that most newbies only read the start here and start posting in the FAQ.  Maybe it should be like buy/sell and then newbies cannot post in the FAQ.   This might cut down on the housekeeping that has to be done.

That's a good idea; I know most of the posts I've moved from there are from new users who posted in the wrong forum.

Yeah, that would cut down on a lot of thread moving.
