Snapshots not appearing in XP
« on: June 29, 2003, 10:31:21 am »
Stupid question I know because the answer must be something obvious I keep overlooking.

Everything worked great in WIn2K which I may go back to anyway but I wanted to experiment with XP.  Now in MAMEWAh none of my screenshots show up except for a few GBA advance ones in JPEG format.  The PNG's definitely do not appear yet we all know they should.

ANy thoughts?

Did you install MAMEWAH, or simply copy the 'installed' directory across?

It sounds like the 'paintx.dll' file is missing, so it can't decode the png's.  Either install from scratch, or copy this dll to your \windows\system32 folder and register it with regsvr32.

Let me know if it doesn't work...

Thanks Minwah, I actually figured it out last night I just had to reinstall it then I dragged my files over to retain my settings.  I must be getting old.
