Building Implosion - front row seats
« on: March 15, 2009, 11:03:11 pm »
Hey guys,

I had the good fortune of being able to get front row "seats" at a local building implosion.  Took plenty of photos and video and have dumped them to http://www.chksum.com

Here's the video from the site.  I'm trying to get videos others have captured from different vantage points.

I think they are prepping a building for that in my area. Maybe I should check the schedule so I can watch.

What a neat little pile it ended up being! I'd never thought about it before, but it's remarkable how the charges are small enough that you can hardly see anything happening behind that black shielding...

Were you at the Hilton, Sheraton, Intercontinental?   Were you at least woken up by the blast?
