Cant decide on metroid marquee!!!
« on: March 11, 2009, 10:41:36 pm »
So i figured i need to figure out my artwork before i order my controls, t-molding, and leds so everything goes together.  I'm going to do a metroid style "theme" for my mame arcade.  Right now i just need to figure out what i want to do with my control panel and the marquee.  I think i know what i want to use for my cp overlay, but i can't figure out the marquee!  My cab is a MKII cab painted black right now, i'm thinking about going with red t-molding and red led lights for my electric ice push buttons, but i can't find a marquee in the metroid/space style....anyone have any ideas? It can say mame in the marquee, it can say metroid, it doens't have to say anything, i just can't figure out what to do!  Below is the pictures i have in mind to try and make something work out, any help would be great (after i figure out the artwork i can really get going on my cab!!!)

So this is what i'm thinking about using for a cp overlay

And maybe trying to make a marquee out of one of the following?

And then down the road maybe this for sideart?

Biggest thing now is the marquee, and just a question for priting, what quality/size does an image have to be to get a good quality print?  Thanks for looking in and I look forward to your replies!!!
