Old version of advancemame
« on: March 09, 2009, 03:28:16 pm »
Can somebody give me a link to Advancemame 0.106.0?

I'm having some serious troubles getting the newest version up and running.  I keep getting errors that say

"No text modes available for your hardware.
Please check your device_video_p/h/vclock" options in the configuration file and ensure that you have a text mode video driver compiled in.  Also ensure to use the auto option for device_video."

I have tried all different kinds of notations for specifying my video settings and nothing has worked.

What is the exact format for these settings?  If somebody could upload their advmame.rc file from the newest advancemame and let me look at it that would be extremely helpful.

Personally, I prefer .104, but in any case yeah the above link is where it's at. For general set-up, go here:

Posted is a zip with rc's for both .104 and .106.1 .

doh.  How could I have missed that?  I must have clicked every link on the sourceforge page a dozen times except that.

Thanks.
