TinyXP Rev 09 question
« on: March 07, 2009, 06:14:09 pm »
Hello All,

I'm looking into TinyXP and likes for experimintation only.  ;)

After wiping out the harddrive and starting up TinyXP, it goes through the normal hardware checking process. Then hangs at the 'Setup Is starting Windows' screen. I have done this about 12 times and same result each time.

Anythoughts?

Thanks,

Fordman

I've seen the same thing, Some report buring at a SLOW speed help. I didn't find that it worked for me tho. Id recommend using NLITE and building your own. :)

 I haven't used Tiny XP 09 but regularly use Version 1, 2.
I can tell you 1 and 2 are picky about it being the first partition
on the HD.

I might suggest hiding everthing else ore unplugging if you
have more than 1 hardrive.

I use Nlite as well but I have to admit
if your not going to use the Internet Tiny XP version
1 is extremely stripped down. I Have a old Compaq Presario
500 MHZ I shelled it into a emulator box with Tiny XP 01.

Sorry getting off topic...back on track now.

Don't forget you can actually use Nlite to strip Tiny XP
even further!

Good luck   :)
