And they're wired. Elch. This flailing, spaghetti thing every time you make a gesture.

Are they wired or was that just a security device to prevent them from walking away?

Security device. Be kind of stupid to sport 2.4GHz and require AA batteries if you're going to be corded.

Security. Theft at tradeshows is very common.

I would never want to play at my PC with something like that, but routing my video output to my TV from a PC and then playing from the couch, I could totally see doing.

If it's that similar to a Wii, why bother?  Just get a Wii.  Once again competitors fail to understand the reason behind Nintendo's success.  Sure, people like the Wiimotes, but it's all about the software.  The Wiimotes are actually a limitation to Nintendo's further success at this point.

EXACTLY ! Look at that tennis game.....two rackets ? WTF ? And it looks SO sluggish.
How many games will support this device on the PC...? And IIRC there are ways to connect a real Wii-mote to a PC.

Well let's see how many FAILs are in that idea:

1. I would have to re-purchase the Wii versions of PC games I already own.

2. Most PC games don't have a Wii version.

3. 480p graphics on a TV capable of 1080p?
