MK II Power problem
« on: February 27, 2009, 05:43:02 pm »
Question for everyone,
I went to power on my MKII game the other day after about a month or two of not playing it, and it did not power up. The first half a dozen times the only thing that lit up was the coin slots, how ever I did notice the moniter powered on. I flipped the switch several more times and eventually the marquee light came on too. I opened up the back of the cabinate and of course none of the little led lights on the board are lighting. IS this most likely a power supply problem? Or is it a problem with the jamma board?? If it is the power supply does anyone know where a replacement can be found??
Thanks in advance!!

I can vouch for TQ linked above, I've done business with them before. Got to meet the owner yesterday in person (cool guy) and had a look at the wares. The power supplies he carries are very nice.

Hey thanks Kevin big help, I've never seen one of those before!  ;)
Thanks to the helpful guys on this board, and thanks to Twisted Quarter, they got my business, the 25$  power supply you suggested worked first time after I swapped it out. Twisted Quarter will get my business again, fast shipping and they take pay pal.  A ++

They had already answered your question....and I agreed with it..... so I just had to give ya a hard time.

Two minutes with a meter and you'll be able to quickly diagnose stuff like that.
