I came across this and thought it was really neat! this is a 1943 scene custom painted barstool.. lots of neat ideas are possible! If any one has the talent to paint pixelated wooden barstools let me know!

Why not go the cheap and pick your image out, have it printed on hq paper. Then stick it down, and lacquer the hell out of the top.

That doesn't sound like a bad idea actually but I would be curious to see what the end result would look like. I feel that these would be a nice addition for Melissa Jones to add to her carvings website since she can also paint.

I've been to tons of galleries that have artists that use very similar tequnique. You just have to sand buff and polish the top to get the finish right.

While not entirely the same, my wife could make you a crocheted seat cover featuring the plane. Had another fellow that came up with the idea and wanted a Galaga one.

still waiting on what your bubble bobble pillows are gonna look like that a few people hinted at. But I really want one of these wooden / hand painted pixelated bar stools!

Bubble Bobble pillows are a few weeks out, because we got an order for 4 Berzerk pillows. Will get to them eventually though.

I totally skipped that message. Why dont you just ask donkeykong. Just ship 'em an Ikea flat packed stool with some scenes picked up. I'm sure they would be reasonable.
