I tried before, but to no avail.  I have to try again.  I have tried to get the latest version of Emusaver 2.1 to work on my system.  I really want to have a cool screensaver to go along with my current MAMEwah setup.  I like the idea that emusaver with launch a random game and then after a period of time, switch to a different game.  I have gone through all the directions, but when it goes to launch a game, it just stays on the "please wait launching game" screen and doesnt actually launch a game.  I have tried the commandline and through mamewah.  Just wondering if there is anyway to get this one to work or if anyone else has had any problems with this screensaver. I am using Win98SE, if that makes a difference.  If I cant get this to work, any suggestions for other screensaver programs that might do the same thing or have other cool features?
Thanks for any help  or comments.

It works OK on my system (XP), perhaps a Win'98 issue?  Any ideas HC?

Well it's nto finding mame, it's not finding your roms, or it's loading a huge rom that takes forever to load.

For debugging purposes delete all of your rom paths and add the path to a specific rom.  (A small one like pacman or ect)  If you keep getting the loading screen press crtl+alt+delete and verify that mame is running.  If it's not then:

the wrapper is in the wrong place
(should be in the same directory as your mame.exe)

the path to mame isn't defined properly

(should be "c:\mame\"  WITHOUT " mame.exe" in most cases)

The config file to the wrapper is in the wrong place
(again in the same dir as mame)

or configured wrong  or something else.....

It does work in 98 btw I have confirmed this.  My guess is it's a simple setup issue.
