Well, I've browsed through the posts since 0.951b was released, and have compiled a FAQ. I will be updating this as time goes on, of course, but I hope this helps. Please let me know if I've missed anything, worded something bizarrely (like that), or have an inccorect answer

MAMEWAH 0.951b FAQ
Q: How do I get my games to show up in a list with their full name?
A: Change it to display ROM names using MAME info as well as rompath.
Q: How do I get my screenshots for other emulators to work?
A: Make sure the screenshot files are in the appropriate format (BMP, JPG,
GIF, PNG or PCX) and that they're named the same as the ROM. For example,
if "Super Mario Bros." is smario.nes, then the screenshot should be
smario.png
Q: I ran the ROM generation list, but some of my games have bizarre names
that don't match the file name or anything! What's going on?!
A: The list generation code has been re-written for version 0.951b. Other
than upgrading, the solution is to manually edit the .lst files to display
the correct game names.
Q: Can I use mamewah as shell in Win9x?
A: Yes you can, and it runs great.
Q: Can I launch PC games from within Mamewah?
A: Yes you can. Set the emulator executable to be PC. Currently, this has
to be done manually in the emu's cfg file. Make a directory with batch
(bat) or shortcut (lnk) files that call your PC game. Set your rom path to
be created directory, and rom exstension to be "bat" or "lnk", respectively.
Run the list generator.
Q: How do I add games to my "favourites" list other than through the menu?
A: You have to manually do this through the menu. A shortcut is planned for
later releases.
Q: My emulator isn't working? What should I check first?
A: Check the debug.log file in mamewah's root folder to see what's going on
behind the scenes. If all looks good, 'Send ROM Path', 'Send ROM
Extension', 'Use Long Filenames' and 'Show DOS BOX' are usually the culprits
if an emu is not working. Toggle these settings until you find the right
combination for your emu.
Q: How do I get mamewah to show game info such as Controller type, year
made, company, etc?
A: Use the catver.ini file. You can set this up in the menu.
Q: I have an emulator that runs command line switches before the ROM name.
I have everything setup properly in the options, but why isn't it working?
A: Mamewah isn't yet setup to call command line options prior to the
romname. This should be remedied by the next release.
