Some generic pine from Home Depot, top panel is MDF. When it runs out I'm going to try poplar next.
The paint is actually pretty bad, its just harder to tell from the photo heheh. I got in a hurry at one point and ruined it, and the Rustoleum spray I was using just wasn't working either.
The process that I will try next time is sand-kilz-sand-kilz-sand-Krylon Fusion (the fan style nozzle on these worked great, let me save the project)-sand-spray-clear coat-sand clear coat. With a properly prepped surface this time I will get a mirror finish, heck even on a damaged surface this process gave nice results.
