Looking for the hard spring - the medium is soft as far as I am concerned.

Thanks!

You too huh? I need to buy 2 for my sticks, but I wonder if they'll even be stiff enough, as the ones that come with the stick are WAY too soft.

You can buy them right on Andy's site for $3.00 a pop. $3.00 is pricey for a little spring as far as I'm concerned, but maybe they're made just for him to fit the stick perfectly.....dunno.

Yep - and the one on Ultimarc's site is actually softer than the original hard spring. I was hoping to get one of the original hard springs...

I posted on the Ultimarc forum at Mameworld, Orc say's they make a big difference over the mush that are the stock springs.

I looked at ordering 2 straight from Andy, but it's not gonna happen. $6 for 2 springs and $14 shipping? GTFO!

You could look back at my thread on the U360 and see the kind of spring I used, that I got from Ace....for under a dollar.

Thanks for the suggestion - I have an Ace Hardware store a mile down the road from me. I found the thread, but you didn't mention a part number. Was it just out of a bin, and you eyeballed the size?

Why not remove your spring and take it with you? It's only a few screws.

I might do that myself, take one to the hardware store with me.
