« on: February 09, 2009, 08:21:17 pm »
I'm having a little trouble hiding the windows box that shows up for a split second when I load an emu other than mame just before the rom launches into fullscreen

anybody else see this

I running Maximus but it happened to me in Mala too I have windows set to hidden but I still see it

The Emus I'm having trouble with are:

Project 64
Visual boy advanced
NES(Fce ultra)

I know that MameWah has an option "no dosbox", not sure if there's such an option for Maximus or Mala.
So a leper walks into a bar and as he gets his beer, a finger falls off. The bartender who is serving him turns and pukes all over the place. The leper, feeling bad, says, "Was it my finger falling off?" The bartender turns to him and says, "No, it's the guy dipping chips into your back."

Not really useful unless the emulator opens a dosbox which is not many these days (most are Windows apps).

I am building my first cabinet and I had to change few emulator too. Select an emulator that let you save the configuration. Most of them has a "FullScreen" option. Once checked, it's saved and the next time you open the emulator it will be FullScreen. This way, the emulator won't show the Windows Menu. Hope it help you.
