Exit Shell to Desktop?

this may be a silly question, but...

I'm running XP 64 and I'm using the "explore.exe" to quit out of my front end but it only gives me an explorer window and not my desktop
Is there any way to exit out of the front end to the desktop?

I was using "Instant Sheller" and it would only give me an explore window and not the desktop on exit of the Front End

I used method from the bottom of this thread and I get to the back to the desktop on exit of the Front End now WOOHOO!
