We received 12+ inches last week which is a lot for a month let alone a day.  There are still a lot of people in some states without power as the front had snow on one side and ice on the other.

I'm pretty sure there are quite a few people who normally post here who may not have power.  Hell, Shardian was posting from his in-laws since he didnt have power at his house.

It's never fun to deal with unless you're a kid getting to stay home from school.

I agree with that.  I just came off a five day holiday thanks to this.  I enjoy the days off, I just don't like having the idea of working on Presidents Day now.

I have a friend sitting at heathrow waiting for some technical problem with the plane to be fixed, the runways closing at 1 so if its not fixed in 15 mins, hes not leaving tonight. Was supposed to leave at 6pm..

Anyway, the cab to the airport cost double, guess when there is nothing else they can get away with it.

So I have to plan my next whole 2 days around him possibly getting a flight, having a now unknown stopover in HK vs the short one if the plane was ontime, and then getting into auckland at any time.

Let's see.  High of 81 today.  Sunny.  No chance of hurricanes.   :D

It's freezing here today.  The high will only be 66.   ;D  It should be 10 degrees higher this time of year.
