Flat T-Molding
« on: January 29, 2009, 06:33:41 pm »
Does anyone know of a good place to find FLAT T-molding, not the smooth bulbous type.

Similar to the molding on this cabinet:

Does anyone even carry this anymore?

That looks like the plastic banding we use to put bundles of lumber together.  ;D

I sure like the look of it vs the rounded.

Is it possible that it is not actually t-molding, perhaps it is a green veneer or Formica glued along the edges?

(photo blocked at worked  :banghead:)

I was looking for flatish black T-Molding for a cab. I haven't had a chance to order anything from them, but it seems a good source might be Outwater Plastics.

I never got around to ordering anything more than samples from T-Molding.com so I never located a source for non-white flat T-Molding.

That makes sense. I had a 70-ish table that used a strip of Formica glued around the edge.

That'd work better if your slots weren't already cut.  :-[

Well it looks like the consensus is that laminate is what's going on in that picture.
I might have to rethink what I want to use for the trimming.

Question:  Any recommendations for a good place to buy laminate? I want to get some idea of what's available out there.
