What price range do you consider inexpensive? You don't want to go too cheap, or you'll get exactly what you paid for.

Sanwa JLW sticks are a great $20 stick.

Of all the things on a cab, don't skimp on the joystick. 

That said, a Sanwa JLW set to 4-way would be a fine choice.

I recommend the 4-way by "Tornado Terry's".  He has 2 versions, 1 for a metal control panel and 1 for a 3/4" wood control panel (the shaft is longer to compensate).  There are 5 different colors to choose from.  At $21.95 it's a bargain.

:applaud: That's good to know, because I have one; but I haven't ordered my encoders yet, so I haven't tried it out. I can certainly vouch for Tornado Terry's other products, his shipping, and his service!
