Perfect new pc platform for small arcade machines

Nividia is showing a new item at CES, called the Nvidia Ion, it's a very tiny integrated cpu/mobo/ram/video card in a box and its about the size of a video cassette.

that would allow some really small table top machines to be built.

yes but the Artigo is a kit sold by a small company and requires self assembly. 

If the Ion comes to market it will be preassembled and cranked out faster at a lower price point and much easier to come by.

Not that the Artigo isn't cool, and yes I am sure Nvidia stole a lot of their ideas from the Artigo.

Thanks for that video, amazing!  My hope is the MSRP is $199 but they haven't announced any specifics yet, just "low prices"

 :cheers:  Not only for arcade machines, but if it can pump out 1080p video with no issues I may want to use it for a HTPC Client machine.  Good Find!!!   :cheers:

looks something like these pico ITX's.  I used a mini ITX a few years ago in a project and it has now worked its way into and Mame.
