WGZ2798-U0FS08S RSDD27V D9810 monitor problem pic attatched
« on: January 11, 2009, 06:06:22 pm »
Hello,

I have a WGZ2798-U0FS08S RSDD27V D9810 monitor which is a digital 27" flat CRT from Wells-Gardner.  For some reason that I haven't figured out it is now squishing the sides of the picture in.  Does anyone know what is wrong or how I could fix it?

I have attached a picture that better explains what I mean.  Notice the left edge.

Thanks for the response.

When you say you need to see a print, what print are you talking about?  Is there a way I can get that?

Have you tried adjusting the picushion adjustment in your OSD menu?

How do I call up the on screen display?  WG didn't send any manual.  I would love to give it a try.

Apparently, Wells-Gardner does not have any manuals for this model yet. Contact tech support:

You can have a look at the D9400 user manual on how to use the OSD menu, the D9810 works exactly the same.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I have now tried the OSD with very little success.  The pincushion setting isn't helping much/at all.  I just bought the monitor in October, does anyone know what WG's warranties are?

Is there anything besides the OSD I can do to get rid of the pincushion. is there some sort of hardware fix I can do for it?

Sounds like you got another one of the famous Wells-Gardner "bad right out of the box" monitors. Call tech support as I mentioned and see what they say. If what they tell you doesn't work then you'll get another monitor.
