That college humor video was far too long.  Got bored after two minutes.

And yes, I do grasp the irony.
I'll exercise patience when you stop exercising stupidity.

Not sure if anyone knows (if it's old news or not) but I just grabbed the TV mini series Riverworld 2010,  I read all the books by Philip Jose Farmer years ago they were great Sci Fi reading, classics.  I just know there's going to be no comparison to the books but hey I'll give it a go.  Anyone here know of what I speak?  Lost fans may enjoy, just a heads up.

I'd take that back if you haven't opened it.

Lost fans may enjoy the books.  Actually most anyone will probably enjoy the books.

I stopped watching after season 3 - not on purpose, just got sidetracked by heroes and life in general. I don't have cable tv so I just buy stuff that may interest me if it goes on sale. For example, the 1984 tv series V I picked up recently. Memories!

I have heard people both loving and hating the ending, and being indifferent. I think it'll be a good show to watch, I'll catch up in the wintertime. I don't like hearing that things don't wrap up though! In the beginning I was making mental notes of stuff that I thought were clues to a bigger picture. I've long since forgotten, I guess that means I won't be disappointed lol.

It leaves a few ends loose, but mostly it ties the major things up. Here is a pretty good synopsis of what happened.

You probably remember me from such films as `The Revenge of Abe Lincoln' and `The Wackiest Covered Wagon in the West'

The show ties up the main story involving the characters, but doesn't explain the vast majority of mysteries or side stories presented.  There are a lot of internet sites that do a lot of guesswork and assumptions to piece most of it together coherently, and they do a pretty good job, but it really is just a bunch of guesswork and assumptions.  Basically, if you do finish watching the show, when you see something odd or something that doesn't make sense, don't try to explain it, just accept it and move on.

If I ever had the time, I'd like to watch the DVD's in a relatively short period of time. You tend to forget crap that happened 5 years ago. Maybe it would come together better. I seem to remember Walt talking to Locke at some point, maybe after Ben shot him. Pretty safe to assume that was the smoke monster (even though Walt wasn't dead).

Stopped watching shortly after season 2. It seriously got to the point where it appeared they kept bringing in new writers that didn't watch the show create all these crazy story arcs, which were subsequently dropped by new writers since there most likely was a high turnover rate.

Or perhaps the original writers have Alzheimer's?
