That's been done 10 times over already, but I'm proud of those students for scamming their professor into believing it was a first.

EXACTLY!

DIYpinball has created their own custom pinball hardware that they (hopefully) will start selling soon.

And BTW, I wish my college would have had the money to blow on a brand new Stern pinball to dismantle. I would have had to fight for $50 to get a gutted cabinet. :angry:

Hey man, if you can be so convincing in your pitch that your professor doesn't punch 'DIY pinball' into google.... well...

It could also be that "completely original concept" was not a requirement.

It could be the mere fact that claiming "completely original concept" destroys all credibility.
