I like old school... really old school. Two story with a ladder old school.

The library from "What Dreams May Come" is ---smurfing--- awesome though. I've been trying to figure out how to landscape part of my backyard to look like that.

Would have been simply to design it 2 shelves upwards at the middle creating enough of a hole to duck and walk under then it could actually be useful.

Click on the AMAZON link for the other cool bookshelves.  I like the one that leans against the wall...a lot.  It's cheap too!
