city of ember

i enjoyed this. if i was 12 again it might be a favourite movie. as an adult, not quite, but still a nice story. saurise ronan (or however you spell it) is someone to watch for. she has already had big parts in several movies ive seen (atonement, houdini) and she seems capable of taking on any role. bill murray and tim robbins didnt shine here, but they did ok. the male lead opposite saurise was quite good too. forgotten his name right now, probably because i dont think ive seen him elsewhere. i think he will go places too.

3.5 out of 5 (4 if i was 12 again  :))

So you are saying its great for kids, but ok for adults?

I saw it advertised yonks ago, but it didn't last at the cinemas.
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

My daughter read the book and wanted to see it, so I took her.

It was easy enough to sit through - at least it had Bill Murray in it.
