Having got that out of the way, has everyone seen Bush dodge not one, but 2 shoes thrown from point blank range? It was ---smurfing--- awesome!! That first dodge is classic. The whole thing has that 'viral video' feel to it. I wonder when the "FAAKE" callers will come out of the woodwork?

My thoughts exactly.  That he was able to remove and throw two different shoes before being touched is just unreal.

Hindsight 20/20 tells me that he could have went all the way and got in at least one punch before anyone was on him. But if Bush moves that fast, it may have been another Nolan Ryan/Robin Ventura adventure.

Bush's verbal response was unusually quick and sort of off the mark. I’m thinking everybody assumed there would be some disturbance so a defense to a verbal attack was prewritten and how the secret service would handle it was also practiced.

This guy was a member of the press.  They were probably told the USA does not want an agent pummeling an un armed Iraqi reporter all over you tube.
